You can trust Dr. Annette Bosworth to represent South Dakota with conservative values.
For 15 years, Annette has earned the trust of thousands of patients by treating them with compassion, care, and deep commitment. As a Doctor of Internal Medicine, she has helped people overcome addictions, counseled people through life changing diagnoses, and assisted people as they battle numerous medical disorders.
Annette receives high reviews for her approach to medicine. She is among the top rated physicians in her field. Annette was the first doctor in South Dakota to meet federal standards for integrating electronic medical records into her practice. This resulted in cost savings while also protecting privacy and improving patients' access to records.
Annette’s commitment to serving others extends far outside the walls of her medical clinic, Meaningful Medicine. Through her non-profit, Preventative Health Strategies, Annette works to provide care to at-risk and under-served populations. To accomplish this, Annette has: Performed free ultra-sounds to at-risk pregnant women; Provided free health care services to over 5,000 patients, many in the comfort of their own homes; Distributed over $5,000,000 worth of medications for free; Supported the food, housing, transportation and/or employment needs of at least 300 local individuals; Worked to educate the community on the social and personal costs of chemical dependency and addiction, the importance of good sleep and stress reduction, and other health-related topics, and; Partnered at-risk patients with "accountability coaches" to help battle the challenges of addiction, obesity, and other chronic risk factors for poor health. Additionally, on several occasions, Annette has traveled to Haiti, the poorest country on Earth, to provide free medical care and medications.
Annette’s community service and humanitarian work have earned her high praise. In 2012, the American College of Physicians awarded her the Volunteerism (Humanitarian) Award. The American College of Physicians is the largest medical-specialty organization and second-largest physician group in the United States, with 137,000 members. In 2013, the EmBE (formerly YMCA) recognized her as one of the top ten women leaders, in the Sioux Falls area, who demonstrate leadership and success in their homes, their work, and community.
Not only does Dr. Annette Bosworth talk the talk, she also walks the walk. Her commitment to serving others is proof. You can trust her to represent South Dakota with conservative values.
